Larry Mann is of counsel to the Bourhis Law Group. Mr. Mann has over 40 years experience representing insurance policyholders against their insurance carriers.
He has an extensive background in prosecuting disability insurance carriers through trial, winning outstanding verdicts for insurance bad faith and unfair treatment of disabled insureds. He has prosecuted insurance companies, under the Federal Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and has many years of experience conducting mass-party complex litigation, personal injury, business litigation, civil litigation, public entity liability, and flood litigation. He obtained a $45 million settlement with the State of California and other defendants on behalf of flood victims.
Mr. Mann has donated substantial time working pro bono to counsel Northern California wildfire victims concerning their homeowners insurance legal issues. Larry is a Vice President and Senior Instructor at U.S. Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy, in San Francisco and is second generation to Bruce Lee and his teacher Ip Man.
For at least the last 20 years, Mr. Mann has received the highest award for professionalism and ethics from the independent attorney rating service, Martindale-Hubbell, based upon attorney and judge recommendations. He is a graduate of Stanford University, and the University of Pacific, McGeorge Law School.
